To meet the need of start-ups and inventors to have working delivery systems quickly, Adara Medical Technologies created a library of stock, non-proprietary component designs that you can select from to build a fully functional delivery system prototype. Our engineers will help configure the stock designs to your size requirements and ensure that the final assembled prototype works for your application.
The basic delivery system is broken down into 6 major components:
The very tip of your device needs to be atraumatic, flexible and help your device track through the anatomy. All of our designs give you the perfect balance between flexibility and trackability.
This component can withstand high tensile loads and yet has the flexibility to reach any part of the body. We can minimize the amount of elongation the tensile shaft exhibits under your load requirements.
Our compression shafts can resist your highest deployment forces in any curve.
This shaft controls the deployment of your implant. Our designs are flexible, lubricious and resists elongation so you have an accurate deployment.
Securely hold onto your implant until you are ready to release with one of our implant engagement mechanisms. We customize to mate with your implant.
Control, ease-of-use and thoughtful ergonomics is what we offer in our handle designs. We can adapt our handles to accommodate any mechanical controls, fluid lines and/or electronics you may need.
1. You select the components that best meet your requirements. Typically, one component from each category above is necessary but your application will determine which components you will ultimately need. Our engineers can help you select the right components once they have a good understanding of your requirements.
2. Our engineers will configure the components you have selected to work well together as an assembly in the French size you want.
3. We order the components from our approved suppliers and provide you with:
- A “bag of parts” with recommendations on bonding and attachment methods for each of the components

Adara Medical Technologies can customize any of our stock shaft designs to be steerable. Steerability can range from a single bend to bi-directional, bi-planer steering. Steerable delivery systems will require greater collaboration between the client and our engineers to fully understand the client’s requirements.
